Written by H G Wells adapted by Beverley Cross and Warner Brown this is a spectacular brand new production of Half A Sixpence, featuring classic favourite songs such as Flash Bang Wallop, If The Rain's Got To Fall and of course Half A Sixpence. Originally staged in the West End in 1963, it later became a film (think Tommy Steele). Now the script has been re-worked and a few new songs added - notably Warner Brown’s show-stopping belter What Should I Feel? The heart warming story of Arthur Kipps, an orphan, who lives and works with other apprentices for the cruel draper, Mr.Shalford. After learning that he is inheriting a fortune, Arthur tries to join the upper class and gets engaged to the wealthy Helen Walsingham. Soon, though, Arthur realizes that his true love is his childhood sweetheart, Ann. A tale of love and laughter for the whole family to enjoy!
