Local Artist Michael Moore will be creating an animal kingdom in the Community Gallery this Spring at the Museum, and he is runnng FREE art classes teaching you how to sketch your pet during the school holidays. Just bring along a photo of your pet or favourite animal, and learn from the expert! Classes are open to all aged 8 or over, and equipment will be provided. Booking is essential!
Set in an old coaching-house in a remote English village, Cat's Cradle concerns an almost forgotten kidnapping, and perhaps murder, which has never been resolved. Inspector Frost returns to reopen the investigation. However his efforts are hindered as it becomes clear that he is facing a conspiracy of silence from the local townspeople. The final outcome provides a completely unexpected twist to this intriguing and disturbing mystery.

Merging old Littlehampton with new, this is a photography exhibition with a difference! The concept is simple: take a picture of an old photo held up in front of the place it was originally taken. The result is a magical doorway to the past, combining the old and the new. The public are warmly invited to submit their views alongside those taken by the Museum team. Your 'views' must be submitted by the 1st April 2012 for inclusion in the exhibition. Please see our website or call in for more details.
Part of Littlehampton's Art Trail, this exhibition will display work by amateur and professional artists across Sussex, and is based on a Spring time theme. This is the Museum's first OPEN art exhibiton, and all ages and mediums are encouraged to submit a piece (or two!) for the exhibition on our chosen theme. Artwork must be submitted to the Museum between the 24th and the 31st March 2012, after which the individuals wil be informed whether their piece has been selected for the exhibition. A revue show to celebrate Littlehampton Musical Comedy Society’s 60th anniversary to be performed by current and previous members who are joining together to celebrate this milestone in the society’s history. This mammoth musical revue contains song & dance number’s from West End & Broadway shows that have been staged since the 1950’s to date covering the life span of LMCS. These include songs from West Side Story, Sound of Music, Half a Sixpence, Mack & Mabel, Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, Hairspray, Pricilla Queen of the Desert, Jersey Boys and many more.

Queens Diamond Jubilee - Mewsbrook Park, Littlehampton
On 4th & 5th of June 2012, Chace Catering are holding a special 2 day event in Mewsbrook Park (Littlehampton) to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The live concert from Buckingham Palace will be be screened on a giant 25 square metre TV screen in the park! Food, drink and ice-cream will naturally be available from the cafe. Don't miss out!
